The group had a very enjoyable evening last night at the Bar in Scrignac. As we have come to expect, the buffet was excellent; all members contributing to produce a veritable feast. The party was made more special as we also celebrated Phil's birthday. It was unfortunate that some members were unable to attend but we were happy to welcome several guests who had helped us with the Vide-Grenier last July. After the buffet we had a free draw for wine and chocolates, which proved to be very popular, followed by some lively dancing to the usual Christmas pop standards.
There will be the usual meeting next Monday, the 13 December and then we will break for Christmas and the New Year. The first meeting of the new year will be the 3 January.
Le groupe a eu une soirée très agréable hier soir au Bar à Scrignac. Comme d'habitude, le buffet était excellent; tous les membres avait contribué à produire un véritable festin. La partie a été rendue plus spéciales que nous avons également fêté l'anniversaire de Phil. Il est regrettable que certains membres n'ont pas pu assister, mais nous avons été heureux d'accueillir plusieurs invités qui nous avaient aidé au Vide-Grenier en juillet. Après le buffet nous avons eu un tirage gratuit pour du vin et des boîtes de chocolats, qui a été très bien reçu, puis on dansait sur le pop Noël.
Il y aura le réunion habituelle de lundi prochain, le 13 décembre , puis nous ferons une pause pour Noël et le Nouvel An. La première réunion de la nouvelle année sera le 3 janvier .
