Membres présents Pauline Bruce; Suzanne Blair, Doug Blair, Mary Chamberlain, Stephen Chamberlain, Michelle Corona, Diana Graham, Nick Graham, Yves-Luc Fontaineau, Roger Macdonald-Smith, Jane Martin, Celine Rolland, David Rosemont.
Madame President Pauline Bruce: a accueilli 13 membres à la réunion.
Les excuses ont été reçues de: Peter Atkins, Sheila Atkins, Bill Balharry, Sue Macdonald-Smith, Rosie Neal, Philip Roe, Maureen Green (demi res), Richard Green (demi res).
1. Pauline a donné 2010/2011 à un revue de l’an comme suit:
Les reunions générales – Je ne veux pas dupliquer le rapport du Secrétaire qui décrira ce que nous avons fait cette année. Alors en bref, nous avons eu quelques succès et quelques échecs. Généralement les réunions ont été bien assisté, en particulier ceux où nous avons eu des excursions et des soirées.
Où nous avons échoué est de ne pas donner aux membres l'occasion de parler plus de français dans les réunions. La perte de Béatrice et la perte imminente de Michelle signifie que nous devons faire quelque chose de différent afin de remplir cette partie de notre constitution. Donc je vais démissionner de la présidence car je pense que nous aurions plus de chance d'attirer les membres français, si nous ne sommes pas perçus comme un groupe anglais.
J’avais l’intention de se tenir comme vice-président, mais comme ce post n'existe pas dans la Constitution, je serai heureux d'aider où je peux comme un membre du bureau ordinaire.
2. Treasorier , Les Comptés :
Des copies des comptes 2010-2011 ont été transmis aux personnes présentes. Après des dons de 600 euros et des charges, le groupe a un bénéfice sain de 1167,32 à la banque. € 570,85 de cet été profiter de la Vide Grenier , bien mieux que nous nous attendions compte tenu des conditions météorologiques épouvantables. Le Grenier Vide est à peu près se soutenir. Espérons que l'année prochaine sera encore mieux.
Le groupe fera un don de 250 euros à l'Amicale LiAc le 4 Octobre à la soirée dans le bar. Mary aimerait membres à payer leurs frais pour le premier semestre de l'année au plus vite s'il vous plaît.
3. Secretaire, Rapport des activities 2010/2011
L’année a bien commencé avec une adhesion de vingt-quatre residents et cinq demi-res. Nouse avons perdu six members, duex demi-res a décidé de devenir permanente.
Le nouveau Président mis en place un Dis-Want blog, afin que les members pourraient se tenir au courant des événements. Les reunions ont suivi le format fixées après la derniére AGM, reunion compose des soirées, discussions, et scrabble, etc. Les members on joué pétanque tout l’annee, et deux joints les habitants du l’association troisiéme age. Il y avait des visites réguliéres à la bar,aussi les membres ont également participle à la fete, pétanque concours, et soutenu d’autres événements locaux à Scrignac y compris l’obtention de leur voiture lavée a l’ecole, et aussi notre Vide Grenier, travaillant aux côtés des members de l’amicale Liac. visites: la vallee des saintes, une picniq a plestin, le Chateau Rosenbou.
4. Motions: Le comité demande que les members d’examiner et vote sur:
ü La répétition du Vide Grenier l‘annee
ü Modification de la date de la ci-dessus pour la semaine après la Vielles Charreau
ü Changer la date et l’heures des reunions du Lundi soir au 1er Jeudi 1930 le soir du mois au cours de l’hiver, et le 1er soir ou après-midi du jour meme mois de l’été (le reste des recontres à des visites, soirees, cinema, etc)
Toutes les motions ont été adoptées: Vide Grenier 8th Juillet 2012; changement de réunions pour Jeudi. Prochaine réunion commencer a 3 Novembre 19:30

3 novembre Salle de Reunion 13 Decembre Noel Soiree à Le Bar.
Boules continue tout les dimanche après-midi.

1.Madame President Pauline Bruce: hosted 13 members at the meeting.
After determining that there were more than 50% of this membership, Pauline Bruce said that we had a quorum and the meeting could proceed.
Apologies were received from: Peter Atkins, Sheila Atkins, Bill Balharry, Sue Macdonald-Smith, Rosie Neal, Philip Roe, Maureen Green (half res), Richard Green (half res).
Pauline gave a review of 2010/2011 year as follows:
The year started well with a membership of twenty-four residents and five (demi-res). We lost six members, two of our newer members decided to become permanent residents.
General meetings - I do not want to duplicate the report of the Secretary that describes what we have done this year. So in short, we had some successes and some failures. Generally the meetings were well attended, especially when we had field trips and parties.
Where we failed is not to give members the opportunity to speak French in addition to the meetings. The loss of Beatrice and the impending loss of Michelle means that we need to do something different in order to fulfill this part of our constitution. So I will resign as president because I think we would have more chance of attracting the French members, if we are not perceived as an English group.
I intended to stand as vice president, but as this post does not exist in the Constitution, I will be happy to help where I can be a regular board member.
2. Treasorier, The accounts
Copies of the years accounts were passed to those present. After donations of 600 euros and expenses, the group have a healthy profit of 1167.32 in the bank. 570.85 euros of this was profit from the Vide Grenier, much better than we expected bearing in mind the horrendous weather conditions. The Vide Grenier is just about supporting itself. Hopefully next year will be even better.
The group will donate 250 euros to the Amicale Liac on the 4th October at the soiree in the Bar. Mary would like members to pay their fees for the first half of the year asap please.
3. Secretary, Report of Activities 2010/2011
The new president set up a Dis-Want blog so that members could keep abreast of events and hopefully cut down the cost of printing newsletters out. The meetings followed the format established after the last AGM meetings consists of evenings, discussions, and scrabble, etc. The members have played boules all year, and two joined the Troiseme Age. There were regular visits to the bar, members also participle in the bowling competitions, and support other local events in Scrignac including getting their car washed at school, the Fez Noz at Coat Keo, the Scrignac Fete in June and also our Vide Grenier, working alongside members of the Amicable Liac. Visits were to the Valley of the Saints with tea at Roger and Sue’s, there was also a picnic at Plestin followed by a visit to the Chateau Rosenbou.
4. Motions: The Committee requests that members discuss and vote on:
ü The repetition of the Vide Grenier years
ü Changing the date of the above for the week after the Old Charreau
ü Change the date and hour of meetings Monday night at the first Tuesday or Thursday afternoon of the month in the winter, and the first evening or afternoon of the same day of the summer months (the remaining visits, parties, cinema, etc.)
All motions were adopted: 8th July 2012 Vide Grenier; change meetings to Thursday. Next meeting will begin at 19.30 on November 3

3 November 7.30 Salle de Reunion 13 December Christmas Soiree at The Bar.
Boules will continued every Sunday afternoon in la Place or the boules hall if wet.
