Meeting Monday 21/02/11 Réunion du lundi 21/02/11

Hello everybody,
Apologies for not posting recently. I had a lovely break in the UK and saw all my family.
The new format of the meeting seems to be working very well. With the agreement of the members, we have split the members into groups of differing abilities. Each member decided for themselves which group they wished to join. The first group for the debutants is helped exceptionally well by Michelle and Celine, and the other two groups worked on general conversation on a theme with at least one french member per group.
Last Monday, the debutants wished to continue with the work they had started and three other groups had a games evening.
Next Monday we will continue with vocabulary sheets for the debutants and perhaps the other members can suggest what they prefer to do by way of a theme at the beginning of the meeting.
The next outing will be the fish and chip evening at the bar Madison on Monday, the 7th March. I think most people who wished to come have informed Jane but next Monday we need to finalise the figures so that I can inform Colin and Avril of the final numbers.
Could members also please dig out the ideas they had for a poster. See you Monday.

Toutes mes excuses pour ne pas poster récemment. J'ai eu une pause agréable dans le Royaume-Uni et j'ai vu toute ma famille.

Le nouveau format de la réunion semble très bien fonctionner. Avec l'accord des membres, nous avons divisé les membres en groupes ayant des capacités différentes. Chaque membre a décidé pour eux-mêmes à quel groupe ils souhaitent se joindre. Le premier groupe pour les débutants est exceptionnellement bien aidé par Michelle et Céline, et les deux autres groupes ont travaillé sur la conversation générale sur un thème avec au moins un membre français par groupe .

Lundi dernier, les débutants ont souhaité poursuivre le travail qu'ils avaient commencé et les trois autres groupes avaient une soirée jeux.

Lundi prochain, nous allons continuer avec des feuilles de vocabulaire pour les débutants et peut-être les autres membres peuvent proposer ce qu'ils préfèrent faire comme un thème au début de la réunion.

La prochaine sortie sera le "fish and chips"au  bar Madison lundi, le 7 Mars. Je pense que la plupart des gens qui voulaient venir ont informé Jane, mais lundi prochain nous devrons finaliser les chiffres pour que je puisse informer Colin et Avril de l'chiffres définitifs.
