Information about a Diamond Jubilee Fete forwarded by David. Anyone fancy going?



What? The Royal British Legion Central Brittany and the commune of Saint-Aignan
DIAMOND JUBILEE FETE.
To celebrate the 60 year reign of Queen Elizabeth II
Where? The Village football field, St Aignan
(near Mur de Bretagne).
When? Sunday 27th May 2012. Starting at noon
What’s Happening? Well…………..
Crepes, Sausages, Breakfast rolls etc. will be available from noon.
The Fete will be officially opened by
Monsieur le Maire at 2pm.
Free Entrance
1952 costume is optional. Handmade crown and coronation dress design
competitions, for all ages.
Anne de Bretagne” cake competition.

Tea shop & bar, ice cream bicycle, fun dog show, pony rides, model railway exhibition, hand and face painting as well as Arts and Crafts, plants, greetings cards, book stalls and games for all to play.
Grand Tombola with many prizes: Ferry tickets, Meals for two, magazine subscription, and much, much more.
